One of our major goals of 2004 is having a delegation of students, youth and teachers; leaders participate in The 11th IEARN Annual International Conference and 8th Youth Summit, in Kosice, Slovakia, Europe, July 11 – 17 2004. Theme:“Content and Collaboration in an Expanding Europe in a Shrinking World”

Putting the World into World-Class Education

Having more teachers participate in the online professional development courses, as our aim is “Putting the World into World-Class Education” Link on IEARN front page, you may add any relevant links; e.g. Language resources for those participating in the AACTION Project?

Help schools establish their own Websites

Reaching out to more local schools and youth organizations.

The wider Caribbean indicated an interest at two regional ICT Workshops, held recently in St. Lucia and Jamaica. Some teachers contributing to the I*EARNTnT Bulletin Board.



Humanities & Social Sciences Category


City to City

This is our flagship project will continue with an added component “Link of Love” as our contribution to the UN’s International Decade of Peace 2001-2010, launched at the City Hall on the First Day of January 2001, by His Worship, the Mayor and participating students doing a symbolic walk through the streets of the city. Participants are also requested to “Be an Ambassador” for their community.


AACTION: American Asian Collaboration through Interaction on the Internet.

To create bonds of friendship and cooperation between educational communities of Asia and The Americas.


Appreciation of the Culture and Traditions of Developing Countries

In this Social Sciences project students will research the impact of the persons/nations that came to colonize their country or island, on the customs, dances, cuisine, culture and language spoken. The flagship project of our sister isle Tobago.






Math, Science, Environment and Technology Category



Math and Agriculture

The third project for this rural seaside community, Participants is invited to explore the link between Mathematics and Agriculture in a global setting and Individual countries, communities and schools.
