Blanchisseuse
Government Primary School
In collaboration with the Blanchisseuse Rural
Women Community Group
One of our foundation members, having began before the official launch of I*EARNTnT
Interacting with ENO Project, IEARN Finland, they were motivated to initiate
their own project with the networking of the women and subsequently the community,
this proved to be quite interesting as the women (ages 33-65) were invited by
I*EARNTnT Coordinator to participate by registering for a computer literacy course
in conjunction with the Caribbean Network for Integrated Rural Development (CNIRD).
I*EARNTnT donated two computers, housed at the school, but used by the community
after school with supervision.
More computers were donated recently by BP Trinidad. Prompting this community
to launch their second online project Math and Agriculture, and organic farming
short crops research project.
