Link
of Love
Be an Ambassador for Your Community/Town/City
Part 1: Creating the Link of Love
To encourage
participants to develop a deeper sense of caring, support and good
will towards one another. When we express our positive attitudes,
relationships align our values and communities are strengthened.
All participants
are invited to be a link
of love to one another by tying a ribbon on the
wrist and offering words from the heart, thereby forming a visibly
personal bond of appreciation, connection and assurance.
Tying the ribbon and offering words of encouragement and friendship is a symbolic
gift so easily passed on others. After being "linked" themselves
participants naturally want to offer the ‘link of love’ to those
around them.
Part 2: Send Information and Pictures
As part of the same project, participants are invited to become ambassadors
for their community by sending information and pictures of historical sites,
culture events or items, foods, and any information about things that make
them proud to live in their communities or countries.

Both activities open to all age groups.
