EARN Trinidad and Tobago is a
non profit group of community leaders, teachers and
students working together to empower teachers and
provide our youth (K-25) an opportunity to make a
worthwhile contribution to society through education
and cultural support.
iEARN (International Education
and Resource Network), is a non-profit
global network that enables young people to engage
in collaborative educational projects using the Internet
and technology in order to enhance learning and make
a difference. All iEARN projects are required to demonstrate
what was learned in some way.
The Trinidad
and Tobago coordinator, Mrs. Gia Gaspard Taylor
of Port of Spain, invites teachers and their classes
to participate in the many exciting project
opportunities we have available.
iEarn
TnT is partners with other organizations such as
Sister Cities International and UNESCO (United
Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization).
The Digi-Arts project is affiliated with UNESCO's
Decade of the Culture of Peace and Non Violence
Against the Children of the World.
Port
of Spain has been a Sister City to Atlanta, USA
since 1985. The International Business Education
Program has resulted from this collaboration.
